Using contractors
Many people use contractors for the control of weeds such as serrated tussock. They are a good option when you have limited time or do not have the right equipment to effectively deal with your weeds.
Some things to look out for when empoying a contractor:
- do they have the right equipment for your particular job
- do they have the correct licencing and accreditation
- are they familiar with serrated tussock and its control
Many local control authorities will be able to give you a list of contractors who work in your area. Some local control authorities offer this service themselves.
