Local Control Authorities Contacts

In NSW local government is responsible for the implementation of the Noxious Weeds Act and are referred to as Local Control Authorities.

Their responsibilities include:

  • ensuring land managers fulfil their obligations under the Noxious Weeds Act
  • Inspection of lands in connection with noxious weeds
  • enforcing the control of noxious weeds
  • weed management of council lands
